Broadway’s Dearly Beloved Musical, “BEETLEJUICE: THE MUSICAL” Plays S.F.’s Golden Gate Theatre through December 31

It’s showtime! BroadwaySF, part of the Ambassador Theatre Group, presents ‘BEETLEJUICE: THE MUSICAL“ -- the ghost with the most that makes it’s San Francisco debut. ‘BEETLEJUICE is currently performing at Broadway SF’s Golden Gate Theatre (1 Taylor Street), San Francisco, CA. through December 31, 2022.

Based on Tim Burton’s beloved film, “BEETLEJUICE” tells the story of Lydia Deetz, a strange an unusual teenager whose life changes  when she meets a recently deceased couple and Beetlejuice, a demon w ith a thing for stripes. When Lydia calls on Beetlejuice to scare away anyone with a pulse, this double-crossing specter unleashes a (Nether)world of pandemonium, and the biggest sandworm Broadway has  ever seen.

Directed by Tony Award winner Alex Timbers, “BEETLEJUICE” features scenic design by three-time Tony Award nominee David Korins, costume design by six-time Tony Award winner William Ivey Long, and music producing by Tony Award winner Matt Stine.

“BEETLEJUICE” is based on the 1988 Academy Award-winning motion picture presented by Warner Bros. and directed by Tim Burton. The smash hit comedy starred Michael Keaton, Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis, Winona Ryder, etc., with story by Michael McDowell.

“BEETLEJUICE” contains strong language, mature references, and a lot of the crazy, inappropriate stuff you would expect from a deranged demon, and is therefore recommended for ages 10+. Running time is 2 hours and 30 minutes, including one intermission. For tickets or more information please visit www.broadwaysf.com.
