“KITCHEN GOURMET” – Bring the Homemade Taste of Italy to Your Home with Cucina Antica

Mar 27, 2020
Cucina Antica values its craft and only uses the most premium, healthy ingredients to bring homemade, authentic Italian flavor to your home. The Cucina Antica® line features award-winning pasta sauces and ketchup made with imported Italian San Marzano tomatoes with no preservatives and no sugar, water, or tomato paste added! All of its products are Non-GMO Project Verified, gluten-free, vegetarian, and Whole30® Approved.

Cucina Antica sauces are created for more than just pasta. In order to satisfy the at-home chef, Chef Neil Fusco crafts its products using an artisanal production method that allows consumers to cook the sauces without losing any flavor.

Chef Neil grew up on a small farm in southern Italy, where hard work was just a part of everyday life. He was the eldest of five, the first-born son of Italian farmers. Every morning, he and his family rose with the sun and followed his mother on the mile-long trek to the tomato fields. There, it was their job to pull out the weeds between the rows of tomato plants. The earth and its fruit were their livelihood, so they cared for it with the same attention to which you might care for a dear family member. If his food wasn’t harvested from his family farm in southern Italy, it came from neighbors, friends, or local markets, which only grew his appreciation for nature and of Italy.

Eventually, Chef Neil and his family immigrated to New York, where Chef Neil began working in the food industry, first as a restaurant owner and chef and then as the founder of Cucina Antica®. In building Cucina Antica Foods, Corp., Chef Neil's goal has been to offer a quality product that families can feel good about sharing while building bonds around the kitchen table, the same way harvesting tomatoes built a bond between his own family. With each jar of Cucina Antica® sauce, you can bring the true, homemade taste of Italy to your home.

Cucina Antica offers a scintillating variety of pasta sauces, including Tomato Basil, Garlic Marinara, Spinach Marinara, Puttanesca, Spicy Arrabbiata, La Vodka, and Tuscany Punpkin. There is also La Pizza Sauce, as well as Organic Tomato Ketchup.

Cucina Antica® Tomato Basil sauce is what Chef Neil calls the “new marinara." Its simple yet light flavor makes it the new kid on the block. Unlike most marinara sauces, this Tomato Basil has no garlic, only onions. Make a simple sautéed zucchini with a ladle of the Tomato Basil and toss over your favorite pasta or chicken dish. This is the best sauce for vegetables, chicken, veal or eggplant parmigiana. If you are not a fan of garlic, use this sauce for making lasagna.

The Garlic Marinara sauce, as well as the Spinach Marinara sauce, allows the home chef to satisfy everyone in the family, as it is a perfectly balanced blend of Italian San Marzano tomatoes, herbs and spices. Simmer it for a few minutes and toss it with your favorite pasta to create a delicious meal the whole family will enjoy.

The Puttanesca sauce, made for the olive lover, combines capers and Italian black gaeta olives with a blend of Italian peeled plum tomatoes, fresh spices, and herbs. This sauce gives any pasta an incredible flavor. It’s also great with fish or rice.

The Spicy Arrabbiata sauce is a favorite with seafood dishes. Another good dish is combining sautéed fresh Italian sausage or chicken with mushrooms, peppers and onions and add the Spicy Arrabbiata. It’s absolutely scrumptious!

The creamy La Vodka sauce is one of the best tasting sauces on the market and still healthy. Compared to most other vodka sauces, this sauce is lower in fat, calories and sodium. The Cucina Antica La Vodka Sauce is not just for Penne alla Vodka; it’s a "must try" with seared sea scallops over spinach fettuccine, or your favorite pasta.

Inspired by Italy’s rustic harvest, Chef Neil Fusco brings you Cucina Antica® Tuscany Pumpkin Pasta Sauce. His artisanal blend of peak harvested pumpkin, flavorful San Marzano tomatoes, and an aromatic combination of garlic, rosemary and sage, is simmered with a touch of cream in perfected small batches. With a delicate hint of honey and cinnamon, this soul-warming sauce achieves a well-balanced earthy character robust enough to be tossed with cheese ravioli, and yet light enough to drizzle over a sautéed medley of fresh vegetables. Simmer with cream for a Cream of Pumpkin Soup. The possibilities are endless with a sauce as savory and versatile as this.

Along with its extraordinary line of pasta sauces, Cucina Antica also offers a truly authentic tasting pizza sauce with a light, slightly chunky taste. This sauce is made with tomatoes from Italy, where pizza originated. Simply spread the Cucina Antica® La Pizza sauce over any dough or crust for a delicious, do-it-yourself pizza!

Not to be overlooked, Cucina Antica’s flavorful Certified USDA Organic Ketchup is Non-GMO Project Verified and Whole30 Approved. It is made with the finest organic ingredients including organic tomato puree, organic sugar, organic white vinegar, organic onion powder, and organic spices.
