“KITCHEN GOURMET” – Truth Bars Offer Nutrition with a Purpose!

Feb 21, 2020
The Truth Bar is the first digestive health bar that includes your recommended daily dose of both Prebiotics and Probiotics.

Truth Bars only include ingredients that have been selected for a specific purpose. They are guided by science and driven to achieve balance. Truth Bar products aim to satisfy your sweet tooth while remaining nutrient-dense and completely free of “junk” that does not serve the body well.

Truth Bar aims to heal the gut, nourish the body, bring sustained energy, mental focus and proper macronutrient balance to your body. Why is Truth Bar different? As previously mentioned, it is the first digestive health bar that includes one’s recommended daily dose of both Prebiotics and Probiotics.

Each bar is gluten- free, non-GMO kosher, mostly organic and contains 1 Billion Probiotic CFUs, along with Prebiotics to balance, protect and heal the gut. Truth Bars avoid high glycemic sweeteners, and use both plant-based and whey proteins, omega-3 rich chia fiber and extra virgin coconut oil for positive health impacts.

Co-founded by Sean Fay and Diana Strobo, Truth Bar was founded on the belief that, in order to optimize our health and wellness, we need to embrace the whole truth of what our bodies need — that the core of optimal health is a healthy gut. The bar was created to make it simple to get the rich fiber, healthy oils, good carbs and the prebiotics and probiotics that we need for optimal gut health.

Truth Bars, originally available in five flavors: Chocolate Almond Crunch, Dark Chocolate Coconut (also available in Mini Bars), Chocolate Raspberry Coconut, Mint Chocolate Chip, and Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch (also available in Mini Bars), have now added two new flavors: Chocolate Toasted Marshmallow and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. All of these delicious bars are dipped in luxurious dark chocolate. The company did not hesitate to take into consideration consumers with soy sensitivities. Soy based lecithin is commonly used as an emulsifier in dark chocolates. Truth Bar’s specially formulated dark chocolate is completely free from soy and sugar.

Chocolate Almond Crunch

The dark chocolate coating is smooth and luscious, giving way to a chewy yet firm nougat like texture. This flavor has a generous portion of cacao nibs scattered throughout the bar, which adds a nice crunch. Although Truth Bars are not marketed as a protein bar, Chocolate Almond Crunch contains a blend of both brown rice and whey protein isolate, making this a nice option as a pre-workout snack or meal.

Dark Chocolate Coconut

Enrobed in rich dark chocolate and very soft in texture, coconut is the star and predominant flavor of this bar. This bar literally melts in your mouth. Try placing one of these bars into the freezer for 10-15 minutes and break apart into smaller pieces so you can savor the moment for as long as possible. It’s a game-changer!

Chocolate Raspberry Coconut

Bursting with a fresh raspberry taste, blended with decadent dark chocolate, this flavor combination just works so well together. It is rich, decadent, indulgent, and so delicious with each bite.

Mint Chocolate Chip

This bar is as close to a healthy thin mint as you can possibly get, because it has that slim bar texture of the cookie but also the taste! The chewy texture comes from the addition of cacao nibs, which is a nice complement to the base of the bar. The mint flavor is not strong or overpowering, but rather, is more subtle, and is balanced with the dark chocolate. Similar to Chocolate Almond Crunch, mint also contains the brown rice/whey isolate protein blend.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch

This satisfying, indulgent, decadent, dark chocolate dipped bar, is loaded with peanuts to offer some crunch. It tastes just like a candy bar, but is low in sugar (only 2g), high in fiber (5g), and contains healthy fats and 4g of protein.

For dark chocolate lovers who also care about healthy eating, Truth Bars are a great alternative with better-for-you ingredients and added health benefits. Without hesitation, Truth Bars should be added to your normal bar rotation. All of the flavors are delicious, however, depending on one’s taste, the Chocolate Almond Crunch, Chocolate Raspberry Coconut, Mint Chocolate Chip and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough are absolute standouts.

Truth Bars can be purchased through their online store, Amazon and or by finding them via their store locator
