TRAVEL & ENTERTAINMENT: Grays Harbor Tall Ship, Jet Planes to Meet for Fleet Week

Oct 06, 2017
Tall ships and jet planes will meet October 6-8, as Historical Seaport joins in on the fun at the annual Fleet Week celebration in Oakland, CA.

The deck of the Lady Washington is the best place in the Bay to witness the Blue Angels and other aerial performers as they fly overhead! Those in attendance will also get a world-class view of the San Francisco skyline, Alcatraz Island, and the Golden Gate Bridge.

Historical Seaport has invited retired Navy pilots to provide commentary on the Blue Angel's maneuvers, as well as local high school jazz bands to provide a relaxing soundtrack to and from the show. Lunch will also be provided for all guests with every ticket purchase!

Grays Harbor Historical Seaport Authority is a non-profit municipal development authority based in Aberdeen, Washington. It provides quality, hands-on education programs aboard its tall ships Hawaiian Chieftain and Lady Washington.
